Frequently Asked Questions
HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL CLASS?
Based on the age and attention span:
- Each class will run from 20 minutes to 40 minutes for lower elementary (Pre-K through Grade 2)
- Each class will run from 45 minutes to 60 minutes for upper elementary (Grade 3 – 6)
HOW LONG IS A TYPICAL PROGRAM SERIES?
Typically, students are taught weekly or twice weekly (based on available funds) and the program will last approximately 10 -12 weeks. If funding and interest is strong, we recommend all-year programs from September to May (on a weekly basis).
WHAT IS THE FEE STRUCTURE?
We recommend contacting us as each campus has a separate set of needs, however:
- For lower elementary ECRR STREAMliners programs: (Pre-K through Grade 2) range from $100 – $140 per class.
- For upper elementary STREAMliners enrichment classes (Grade 3 – 6) range from $375 – $525 per class.
HOW DOES THE FUNDING WORK?
We recommend beginning with a pilot to demonstrate the program’s value. Our team will work with your staff to decide on how each organization can afford a long-term budget to satisfy a semester to year-long program series. We recommend contacting us to discuss further how we can partner in building a sustainable program series for your school/district.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO WE NEED TO SCHEDULE A CLASSES?
Typically, we are available anytime for stand-alone programs (in-school or afterschool). When booking a program series, it is based on our availability and length of program. Most ongoing school programs give us a schedule by August for the school year. We recommend contacting us to discuss further how we can support your interests.
