Presentation @ The Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) Annual International Conference

TAO Executive Director, Joseph Vincelli, will present along with the director of our education partner, TCU’s Starpoint School (a school for students who learn differently), Dr. Marilyn Tolbert, at the LDA Annual International Conference in Chicago.

The presentation is titled:

Cultivating Creative Thinking Through the Power of the Arts

The topic will provide a comprehensive arts program that is enhancing and reforming the educational goals of the Starpoint students and providing links to the larger artistic community.

This “first of its kind” program has been developed to extend possibilities for innovative instruction and learning, and to integrate practicing artists and their work into the learning environment.  The program uses the arts to assemble creative completion with the provided learned information, building mental pliability and imaginative excitement for both, the students and the teachers involved.

TAO has co-presented with Dr. Tolbert and Starpoint  in the past and we look forward to this great opportunity to extend our programs to another international audience.  As well, the new software tools and method, authored by ED, Joseph Vincelli, will be introduced to the education community at this conference.  To learn more about this method/software, go to www.TheGAMESmethod.com.
