Events are normally private workshop performances and lectures. If you would like to observe a workshop for your organization, you must have approval from both, The Artist Outreach and the participating organization:

ALL DAY SESSION: TA: Joseph, Emily (Geo Dance, Grades 1 – 6)
1st- shapes 2 dimensional circle, triangle, square, rectangle (names of them & play a game where we show real life objects & create human shapes)
2nd- introduce polygons- triangle, rectangle, square, pentagon, hexagon, and octagon (shape sort with strategy of counting and marking sides)
3rd- faces, vertices, edges (box labeling- draw faces, Pom Pom balls on corners, red marker on edges)
4th- acute, right, obtuse (figuring the other part of angle based on information already there) For example…if we know we have a 90 degree angle and we know that part of it is 30 degrees, the remainder is 60 degrees.
